The work is winding down and the end of the week may bring the end of construction. We'll see....there is always some detail that needs to be changed. I go with the flow and hope for the best outcome. A bonus in the design aspect is that we had to make our decisions on materials quickly. No time for indecision. I liked that.

Chose this diamond pattern center row 3rd from the left |

Garage was painted with bright white semi gloss paint. Looks better than new....

Where to begin? |
|
|
We chose hand scraped wood flooring from
Lumber Liquidators. Changed the whole look and feel of the upstairs.

As you can see I gave up trying to keep the house swept and dusted.
Tiling was next...no glitches here. So happy with the way it turned out.

Waiting for grout |
 |
Bright white grout. I'll be sealing this with a product that seals the grout for 5 years |
 |
Dark brown grout...will seal this as well |
 |
Ready for installation |
I painted the vanity walls with
Benjamin Moore Cumulus Cloud #1550. The rest of the walls and base are Martha Stewart
Tailors Chalk.

The ugly phase |
