Week 5...the end is in sight....

The work is winding down and the end of the week may bring the end of construction.  We'll see....there is always some detail that needs to be changed.  I go with the flow and hope for the best outcome.  A bonus in the design aspect is that we had to make our decisions on materials quickly.  No time for indecision.  I liked that.
Chose this diamond pattern center row 3rd from the left

Garage was painted with  bright white semi gloss paint.  Looks better than new....
Where to begin?

We chose hand scraped wood flooring from Lumber Liquidators.  Changed the whole look and feel of the upstairs.

As you can see I gave up trying to keep the house swept and dusted.

Tiling was next...no glitches here.  So happy with the way it turned out.

Waiting for grout

Bright white grout.  I'll be sealing this with a product that seals the grout for 5 years

Dark brown grout...will seal this as well

Ready for installation
I painted the vanity walls with Benjamin Moore Cumulus Cloud #1550.  The rest of the walls and base are Martha Stewart Tailors Chalk.
The ugly phase

Plumbing issues continue...
