The Broken Shutter is the name of a little shop my sister and I opened in Upland in 2004. We closed a year later on the upside with a real appreciation of the work involved in keeping a small business running. I think it's appropriate that I change the name of my blog to The Broken Shutter. It was a magical place full of beautiful things, laughter and at times, ants. We reminisce about all the wonderful and not so wonderful days throughout that year and the months leading up to our opening. I'll dig through my pictures and share them in the near future.
I am looking forward to filling this blog with beautiful things, laughter and at times....ants.
